The Twenty First Sports Festival with International Participation was held from June 11 to June 15, 2025, in St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Bulgaria. The festival was organized by Bulgarian Workers’ Federation “Sport and Health” with cooperation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB).
1100 persons from 46 organizations participated in the festival, representing 5 countries: Bulgaria, Israel, Mexico, Romania and Serbia.
The festival program included competitions in 14 kinds of sports: mini football, beach volleyball, bowling, basketball (streetball), swimming, tennis, beach tennis, table tennis, chess, darts, petanque, sports backgammon, tug of war and relay “Fast together”.
The complex ranking by nations was won by the representatives of NPP Kozloduy, who gathered a total of 162 points. The second place was taken by INDET (Mexico) with 15 points, and the third by Sindicatul Energia Moldova (Romania) with 11 points. The Fairplay Cup of Nations was won by Association Sport for All Serbia (Serbia) for men and S.L.I. Energia (Romania) for women.
The complex ranking for the “Prof. Dr. Zhelyazko Hristov” Cup was won by the players of Workers’ Club “Sport and Health – Kardjali” with 99 points, followed by TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 with 80 points and WSDS Ruse with 27 points. The “Prof. Dr. Zhelyazko Hristov” Fairplay Cup was won by Nikola Kozlevo Municipality for men and CITUB for women.
The winners in the complex rankings received their awards from Mrs. Daniela Alexieva – Vice-President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB), Mr. Todor Kapitanov – Vice-President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) and Mrs. Desislava Yagodin – President of Bulgarian Workers’ Federation “Sport and Health”.
