The 9th International Sports Games of Sport for All without Borders took place in Nea Skiona, Greece, from 14-18 May 2025.
The sports games, which are included in the annual calendar of international activities of the Balkan Association of Workers’ Sports – BAWS, were organized by the Macedonian Association “Sport for All without Borders”, with the participants’ accommodation at the “Anastasia Resort&Spa” hotel complex on the Aegean coast.
Around 250 participants from Romania, Slovenia, China, Montenegro, Serbia and North Macedonia took part in the program.
The event was attended by BAWS Secretary mr Dejan Marsenić, who monitored the implementation of the program activities.
The competitions took place according to the established schedule in the following sports disciplines: indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, darts and tug-of-war.
At the closing of the sports games, BAWS Secretary mr Dejan Marsenić, conveyed the greetings of BAWS President Branko Vujović in his address and thanked all participants and BAWS member organizations that participated in the program. In his speech, he announced the upcoming events – the 21st International Workers’ Sports Festival in St. Constantine and Helena, Bulgaria, from 11-15 June 2025 and the 34th International Sports Festival for All in Budva, Montenegro, from 24-28 September 2025.
The program continued with awards and recognitions. The Romanian Federation Sport for All, PPC Romania, the Montenegrin Sports Recreation Association “Sport for All” and the Association Sport for All Serbia, received Fair Play trophies, which were awarded by the president of the Macedonian Association “Sport for All without Borders” Dragan Ćurlinov, along with letters of appreciation for their sporting contribution.
