The central event of the Balkan Association for Workers’ Sport (BAWS) for the year, featured in the annual international activity calendar, was the 8th International Sports Games of “Sport for All Without Borders”. This event, organized by the Macedonian Association “Sports for All Without Borders,” took place from May 22-26, 2024, at the “Olympian Bay Grand Resort” in Leptokaria, Greece, situated at the foot of Mount Olympus along the Aegean Sea.

Approximately 200 participants from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, and North Macedonia took part in the games. Branko Vujović, President of BAWS, attended the event and actively participated in the competitions.

The games included various sports disciplines: futsal, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis, darts, and tug-of-war, with matches conducted according to the scheduled program.
During the closing ceremony, held on the hotel complex’s plateau, awards and recognitions were presented to teams and individuals for their outstanding performances. President Branko Vujović addressed the audience, extending greetings to participants and member organizations, and announced upcoming events. These include the 20th International Workers’ Sports Festival in St. Konstantin and Elena, Bulgaria, from June 5-9, 2024, and the 33rd International Festival of Sport for All in Budva, Montenegro, from September 25-29, 2024.

The ceremony continued with the distribution of awards, recognitions, and certificates of appreciation. The Fair Play Cup was awarded to the Public Revenue Administration of Đevđelija from North Macedonia. Dragan Ćurlinov, President of the Macedonian Association “Sports for All Without Borders”, presented certificates of appreciation to several organizations, including BAWS members: the Bulgarian Worker’s Federation “Sport and Health”, the Romanian Federation Sport for All and theAssociation Sport for All Serbia, acknowledging their contributions to the success of the event.
